“Enjoyed our stay rooms were all in great shape. (Though through luck of the draw we ended up getting one of the level 1 rooms with view blocked with another marriot building) based on what I could tell maybe 90% of the rooms have a clear ocean view. that's my only negative comment. Everyone was super friendly, food was good, and good options within walking distance all and appeared well kept and pretty new”
“Just stayed here is was great! pool was amazing, beaches near the hotel were beautiful! All the workers were very helpful and sweet. especially the worker Gabriel at the front desk, he was so sweet. I definitely will Recommend the Marriott to my friends. The hotel was always cleaned for us, and beautiful. We got fresh towels, cleaned beds, and toilet paper. beautiful sunsets, and a whole bunch of interesting flowers and trees. We got to see cute little kitties running around, Weasels, and cool looking birds. A lot of restaurants and gift shops near by with great food and cool stuff!”
“Nice, sunny location. However, the wind was unbearable at times. The MVC rooms are updated and comfortable. The building itself shows its age. We did not eat at the resort. We bought food at Costco and ate at the options nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”
“Convenient location 20+ miles from Kona airport. Perfectly located for the best weather. However, lava is not pretty, and the south east looks more lush. Amenities are good! Several pools, one has a slide for kids, and a lifeguard. Beach, ocean rentals, fish ponds, pools with food service, all the resort services. Drinks and food is pricey. Mango smoothy $16, coffee $8. We had breakfast at "Hawaii Calls" restaurant in the Marriott: malasadas, mochi pancakes, coffee ($77 total). A bit expensive. However, the view, service, experiencing the Portuguese fried bread, and rice flour pancakes was worth it! The lullikoi butter enhanced the tropical flavors. * See photos”
“It's a very beautiful property! We originally planned to stay for just one night. But the property and Jakob convinced us to extend for one more!. Shout out to Jakob at the front desk for helping us in extending our stay. Thank you...”
